VIERA, Fla. — Leslie Walter Sables, 69, of Viera, Fla., for the past 15 years, formerly of Lincoln, R.I., and Hopkinton, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 27, 2006.

He was the husband of Dolores R. (Bois) Sables for 50 years.

He was the son of the late Betty G. (Angell) and John A. Sables.

In 1991, Mr. Sables retired from the Holliston Highway Department as a mechanic. He was a member of the Florida Elks.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, John A. Sables and his wife, Joanne, of Hopkinton; two daughters, Betty Ann Cusson of Woonsocket, R.I.. and Cheryl Riess and her husband, Kevin, of Hopkinton; and nine grandchildren, Colleen, Catherine, Kevin, Brian, Scott, John, Josh, Jake and Jared.

The funeral service will be private.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St.
