Holliston-

Leonora Kundla, 85, of Holliston, and also Siesta Key, FL., died July 26th, 2005, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Leonora Sandland. She was also the wife of 55 years to the late Joseph Kundla who passed in December of 2003.

57 year resident of Holliston, she was active with the child study group, girl scouts, and the Curtain Timers. She was also an avid contract bridge player. She had worked as a computer programer at the Natick Labs until her retirement in 1988.

She is survived by 1 son, J. Peter Kundla of Philadelphia, PA., 2 daughters, Patricia K. Maitland of Harwichport, MA., and Sarasota, FL., and Deborah K. Pennington, and her husband Christopher of Catonsville, MD.
1 sister, Evelyn Knoblick of Juno Beach, FL., and she also leaves 4 grandchildren, Suzanne McGourty, Christopher Maitland, Nancy Maitland-Woodward, and Andrew Pennington, and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation hours will be at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston, MA. (Rt. 16), on Tuesday August 2, 2005, from 5-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Holliston. Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
