Holliston-

Leeland Taylor Pope, 40, of Attleboro and a former longtime resident of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Michelle (LaVache) Pope of Holliston and the late Walter E. Pope Jr.

Leeland was well known for her sarcastic sense of humor and quick wit. She also loved to cook and bake.

Besides her mother, Leeland is survived by her two children, Brandon and Ashley Cordeiro of Attleboro, three brothers, Christopher R. Pope of Holliston, Justin A. Smith of Waltham and Walter E. Pope III of Texas. She also leaves behind her grandfather, Richard H. LaVache of Saco, Maine, as well as her significant other, Joey Creighton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th from  2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MSPCA.
