Holliston-
Lawrence R. Robinson, 90, of Holliston, passed away Thursday April 14, 2011. Born in Vermont, he was the son of the late Arthur and Abbie (Winham) Robinson. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Kell) Robinson.

A WWII Purple Heart Recipient, Lawrence was an Army Veteran who served in Africa, Sicily and Italy. He formerly worked at Draper Corp in Hopedale until 1952, and then Dennison Manufacturing where he retired after 32 years. He was active in the Holliston VFW and was a van driver for the Holliston Senior Center.

He is survived by his children, Donald Robinson of Milford, Richard Robinson and his wife Barbara of Georgia, and Sharon Weaver of Milford; his grandchildren, Jason, Mark and Jen Robinson, Specialist Derek and Aislinn Weaver and a great grandson Lawrence Weaver. He also leaves behind a daughter in law, Patricia McNeil Robinson of Holliston. He is predeceased by his son, David Robinson and his 5 siblings, George, Jane, Bessie, Edith and Marjorie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
