Holliston-
Laurier Elvin Rafuse Jr, 84, of Holliston died Wednesday September 29, 2004 at Kathleen Daniels of Framingham. Born in Salem he was the son of the late Esther (Hopkins) and Laurier Elvin Rafuse Sr.

A Holliston resident for 52 years, he was married for 58 years to Barbara Rafuse of Holliston. He was also an active with the First Congregational Church of Holliston, Holliston Food Pantry, and the Power Squadron of Framingham (Boating Safety), and Holliston Horizon Hoppers. He was also a WW II Army Air Corp. Veteran from the 367th Fighter group and 393rd Fighter Squad. Laurier was also retired from 38 years with New England Telephone in 1984, and enjoyed woodworking and traveling in their truck camper.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Rafuse of Holliston, 2 daughters; Bonnie Ann Rafuse of Jamaica Plain, and Beverly Rafuse Boucher and her husband Richard of SO. Windsor, CT. and one grandchild Samantha Burke.

Memorial visitation hours will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) from 4 to 7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday October 4, 2004 at 11:00 am in the First Congregation Church of Holliston. Burial will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston.
