Lauren J. Harper, 48, of Bellingham and formerly of Holliston, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Clarksville, TN., she was the daughter of Kenneth Saunders of Whitinsville, and Janet (Ekvall) Colson and her husband Dick of Holliston.

A resident of Bellingham for the past 20 years, she was involved in many church activities at Bethany Assembly of God in Mendon, including the Blessing Barn.

She was the wife of the late Daniel Bagster Harper Sr. who passed in 2006. She is survived by 2 sons, Daniel Harper Jr. and Matthew Harper, both of Bellingham and 1 daughter, Kimberly Harper of Bellingham,1 grandchild, Gabriel Harper. She also leaves 3 brothers, Jonathan Saunders of NY., Jeremy Colson of Waltham, and Tony Colson of Shrewsbury, 1 sister, Kate Foley of Salisbury, her mother in law Barbara Nickerson , her Aunt, Barbara Iacovelli.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 4-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (RT. 16). A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:30 in the Bethany Assembly of God Church, 15 Cape Rd. in Mendon on Rt. 140 towards the Mendon/Bellingham town line. Burial will take place in Lake Grove Cemetery at a later date with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gabriel’s Trust Fund Milford National Bank, 300 E. Main St., P.O.
