Never Replaced: By April Angliss Her hand in mine as we made a cake The screech in her voice when I made a mistake "You can be replaced" she'd say But still she rarely got her way I was a child then, she'll never get to hold me now But it was time for her to take a well deserved bow I didn't get to say goodbye, that's true But as she passed those pearly gates, she knew His eyes meet hers and all that pain The hurt, the agony just wash away I know they love me from above We will miss her everyday Every moment we hear someone say "You can be replaced" will echo But each time we hear this, one thing is true My grandma could never be replaced My grandpa too
