Kenneth “Ken” James Canavan, 54, of Holliston, died unexpectedly, Sunday,
March 8, 2009. Born in Waterbury, CT., he was the caring son of Edna Mae
(Leary) Canavan of Newport, R.I. and the late James Edward Canavan. He was
the loving husband of Cynthia (Gorton) Canavan of Holliston.

A 14 year Holliston resident, Ken was a dedicated father who loved golf,
fishing and was involved with his children’s sports.

Besides his wife, Cynthia, to whom he was married for 22 years, and his
mother, he is survived by 2 sons, Michael James and Lucas Gorton Canavan
of Holliston; 1 daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Canavan of Holliston; a
sister, Patricia C. Busse and her husband, John T., of Portsmouth, R.I.;
and his loving aunt, Winifred Leary, of West Palm Beach, FL.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 4-8p.m. at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.
