Kenneth A. Stone Sr., 81, of Holliston died Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Born in Scituate, MA he was the son of the late Jane and Chester Stone. He was the husband of Anne (Henderson) Stone for the past 4 years and was the husband of 55 years to the late Bonnie Stone who passed away in January of 2004.

A Navy veteran of WWII and a graduate from Fitchburg State College, Kenneth had received a Masters Degree from Framingham State College. He was a teacher for 35 years and Head of the Industrial Arts Dept. for the Wellesley Public Schools. He was involved with the Holliston Little League as a coach and commissioner, Holliston Parks Dept. as a commissioner, a member of SMARC and the Pinecrest Golf Course Committee. An avid golfer, gardener and master carpenter, he had been named a Person of the Year by SMARC.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Alan, Ken Jr., Steve, Myra Brazil, Kevin, Ellie Harrington, Larry, and Lorri Petinge. 22 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be on Friday October 16 at 10:30 am in Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery.
