Kathlyn J. Hilliard, 88, of Holliston, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Collins) and Thomas Kirby. She was the wife of  55 years to the late George A. Hilliard.

Kathlyn was a proud homemaker and enjoyed time spent walking around town; where she was known as “the walker”.

Kathlyn is survived by 6 children, Joanne Hilliard and her husband, Kirk Reistroffer, of Fremont, California, Joel Hilliard and his wife, Wilma, of Broadalbin, New York, Jeffrey Hilliard and Jo-ann Albano, of Claremont, New Hampshire, Jeannine Hilliard of Holliston, John Hilliard who resides in Fredmont , California, Jerrold Hilliard and his wife, Theresa, of Bellingham. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jeannette and her spouse, Stephanie, of Asheville, North Carolina, Jacqueline of Broadalbin, New York, and Nathan of Bellingham; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, James Hilliard and her siblings, Thomas Kirby, Patricia Kirby-Russo, Maureen Kirby-Kurtzonkowski, and William Kirby.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary’s Church, 8 Church St. Holliston, MA 01746.
