Holliston-

Kathleen D. Smith, 77, of Holliston, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Born in Arlington, MA, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor (Talbot) and Felix Hogan. She was the wife of the late Jerome F. Smith. 

Kathy formerly worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS in Holliston. She was an avid traveler who relished the opportunity to meet new people and explore.  She was an avid game player who loved a challenge, whether it was board games with the grandchildren, to weekly bridge/ poker games with lifelong friends.  Her greatest satisfaction was sharing in these experiences with those she loved. 

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Blanchard and her husband, Michael of Northborough and Denise Bertoni and her husband, Todd of  Milford. She also leaves behind her brother, Bob Hogan and his wife, Ginny of East Bridgewater; 5 grandchildren, Kaylee and Ryan Blanchard, Peter, Jessica, and Anna Bertoni. She is predeceased by her sisters, Mary Lou and Eleanor Hogan. 

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org or 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 400 McLean, VA 22102
