Holliston-

Katherine Marie Heavner, 60, of Holliston, passed away October 18, 2016 at Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Alice Marie Frey of Medway and the late James Arlington Nickerson. She was the loving wife of Mark Heavner of Holliston and wonderful mother of Karly Marie Heavner and her husband Greg Rizzo of West Boylston.

Katherine enjoyed shopping, gardening, antiquing and traveling to the beach with her family. She had owned Starlight Naturals, a health food store in Holliston.

Besides her mother, husband and daughter, Katherine leaves behind her siblings, Dennis Arlington Nickerson and his wife Susan of Medway, Peggy I. Brown and her husband Robert of Pawtucket, Nancy A. Calvin and her husband Steve of Medway, Heidi L. Crimmins of Uxbridge, and Bethany A. Bennett and her husband Paul of Holliston. Along with many nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21st from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00a.m. at the Holliston Congregational Church.
