Karen Aileen Strachan, 50, of South Grafton and formerly of Holliston, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was the daughter of Harold Swindell of South Grafton and Carlene (Kelton) Swindell of Westborough.

Karen was an RN and enjoyed traveling, crocheting and going to the beach.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Kelleigh Surrette of Worcester, Howard Swindell of W. Boylston, Karlene Mulcahy of Grafton, Kristin Briddon and her husband Scott of Worcester; her step son, Daniel Cowern of Milford; her best friend, Joyce Zercoe of Ashland and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Kathy Swindell.

There will be a memorial service at 12 noon on Friday, August 22nd at the Natick VFW.
