Holliston-
Justin Robert Mayer, 24, of Holliston, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at his
home surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with a
rare form of liver cancer. Born in Natick, he was the son of
Cynthia (Carchio) and Attorney William H. Mayer of Holliston.
A 2001 graduate of Holliston High School, he was a member of the varsity
golf team and enjoyed his family, friends, music, traveling, golf, fishing
and basketball. He had attended Assumption College and Framingham State
College and was self employed in the landscaping business at the time of
his death.
Besides his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers, Jonathan and Alexander
Mayer both of Holliston, his maternal grandmother, Rose Carchio of
Framingham, and paternal grandmother, Paula Mayer of Forestdale. He leaves
behind his aunts and uncles, Sharon and Steve McComisky, Debra and Charles
Pedersen, John and Kolleen Carchio, Jacqueline and Joseph Rossini, and
Robert and Michael Mayer. He also leaves behind many cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Dr. John J. Carchio.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 30, 2007 from 4-8p.m. at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16)

1, 2007 at 10:00a.m. at the St. Mary’s Church in Holliston. Burial will
follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
