June DeGanne (Bent) Fabrizio, 94, of Danvers and formerly Holliston, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Winifred (Lee) and Joseph DeGanne. She was the wife of the late Ennio“Pete” Fabrizio.

June was a 1948 graduate of Holliston High School. She continued her education at Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1951. June went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse, working in many different areas of healthcare until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed time spent in Florida, and became active in the Methodist Church there, where she founded a volunteer program that brought women together each week to sew colorful quilts for the area’s large homeless population.

June is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bent and her wife, Barbara Towski of Beverly. She also leaves behind her step-daughter, Carol Fabrizio and her family of Pembroke; her brother, David DeGanne of Florida; her daughter-in-law, Annette Bent; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Megan, Adrianna, and Colin; four great-grandchildren, Lukas, Olivia, Madelynn and Cameron, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Bruce Bent; siblings, Betty Klobucher, Helen Stanley, Shirley Stone, and Joseph and Edward DeGanne.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Highland St. Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save the Children, https://www.savethechildren.org/ or to Salvation Army, https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/
