Hopkinton-
Julian A. “Skip” Bogus Jr., 68, of Hopkinton, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Milford Regional Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Julian A. Bogus Sr. and Helen M. (Galvin) Bogus. He was the husband of Mary Pat (Golden) Bogus of Hopkinton.

Skip was an Air Force Veteran and retired in March 2000 after working 32 years at what is now NStar Gas. He was a member of the Knights of Colombus, the Bishop Rice Council 4822 of Ashland and the Hopkinton Sports Association. Skip was an avid boater.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Julie A. Ford and her husband John of Hopkinton, Marianne Rososky of Hopkinton, 1 brother, Gerard Bogus of Rockland, a sister, Stephanie Goodspeed of Marshfield and his grandchildren, Corey A Rososky and Raelyn B. Ford both of Hopkinton. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 2 siblings, Paul and Patricia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 4-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church of Hopkinton.
