Franklin and formerly Holliston-

Judith Ann McGrath, 79, of Franklin, and formerly of Holliston, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Elsie (McKay) and William Grillo. She was the wife of the late Leonard Francis McGrath. 

Judith worked as an X-Ray Technician in Milford for over 35 years. She was an avid gardener and was a member of the Holliston Garden Club. She had been a Trustee for the Holliston Public Library for many years. Judith took pleasure in decorating and home improvements. 

She is survived by four children, Kelly A. White of Dennis, Kevin F. McGrath and his wife, Susan of Bourne, Kim Gale and her husband, Richard of Attleboro, and Kurt W. McGrath of Sandwich. Judith also leaves behind her longtime companion, Jim Hosford of Franklin and his family; as well as 5 siblings and 8 grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd from 10:00 a.m. -12: 00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A service in the funeral home will follow at 12:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be said in Judith’s name on Saturday, December 28th at 5:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith’s memory may be made to Holliston Public Library, 752 Washington St. Holliston, MA 01746
