Joyce L. Olson, 85, of Northborough, and a former longtime Hopkinton resident, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough. Born in East Hartford, CT., she was the daughter of the late Grace (Tourtelotte) and George Irvine. She was the wife of the late Dana F. Olson.

Joyce enjoyed reading. She is survived by three children, Alan Olson and his partner Daniel Espy of Seattle, WA, Carl John Olson and his wife Rosemary of Falmouth, and Carole Hampson and her husband Kevin of Mendon. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Daniel, Laura, Marissa, Arick, Grace, Natalie, and Diane, and one great-grandson, Parker. She is predeceased by her siblings, Charles, Millicent, and Jayne.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 29th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Burial will be held privately.
