I had the pleasure of delivering Joe's Meals on Wheels. We often talked baseball and Red Sox. He was always a joy to be around. My condolences to the family.

I was very sorry to learn that Joe had died. I was fortunate to see Joe 3-4 times a month for six plus years and always looked forward to seeing him. We would talk sports and Joe was always dressed in some type of Sox or Patriots uniform. He was funny and had a great laugh and I'll always remember him. Rest in peace Joe

I want the Vertuca family to know how sorry I am for your loss. I always counted Joe as a friend. We coached a successful basketball team together and we had a fun time doing it. We played on opposite teams in men's softball and had a great time there also. Joe was a quality person with a heart of gold and a good understanding of sports and how things should be done. I am so saddened by his loss.
