Me and Joe at Steve Donovick’s wedding. The Woodlands, TX.

Very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I knew Joey from back in the Babson days. Although I had not seen Joe in many years I kept up with him through Jay Nelson. I hope the family can take solace in knowing that all of us who ever spent any time with him automatically became better than we were before. I sincerely hope Andi and her family know we all have a special place in our hearts for Mino.

I send my thoughts and prayers to the Minihan family. We will miss you "Mino" !!! Joe was a very special friend to me. Four of us came to Babson as freshman basketball players at the same time. Jay Nelson, Stephen Donovick, myself and Joe Minihan and we immediately formed a unique bond. Joe recognized my small town roots from Vermont meant I had little big city experiences. Joe took an interest in showing me what a city like Boston had to offer. Thank you Joe for making my Babson experience so incredible !!! Joe orchestrated. a group of us to go to the J Geils band 10th anniversary concert (my 1st concert, EVER) I'll never forget it !! When St Patricks Day rolled around he got us to go to South Boston for the St. Patty's Day parade !! Amazing !! Then when it was opening Day at Fenway Park, he taught me that true Sox fans skip class to go see the first home game of the season !! Another fantastic memory!! I thanked him by showing him how to do late night studying at the Babson library. Joe was a master of the "no look pass" on the basketball court! More importantly than these experiences, Joe was truly an amazing person. He was a man of the highest integrity, a dedicated athlete and a complete team player. He had a wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, sharp and I can still hear his chuckle, and full laugh. We always found a way to tease each other without really hurting each others feelings . Joe was an amazing man with a huge heart. Rest in peace my friend......You made me a better person and I thank you !! You will ALWAYS be remembered.

What a wonderful human. Mr. Minihan was an amazing man; who was always present during soccer. He raised two beautiful, amazing women and I am grateful to have known him. Love and thoughts to Mrs. Minihan, Page and Erin-and all extended family and loved ones💜

We are so sad to hear about Mr. Minehan. My daughter loved him when she had him a few years ago, That year was a tough year for him, but he still had such a good sense of humor and had affectionate names for my daughter and her friend. It was clear how dedicated he was and how much he cared. Rest in peace, Mr. Minehan, and thank you for all you did for my daughter and other FPS kids. Prayers for his family and loved ones.
