Joseph “Joe” A. Russo III, 46, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Russo Jr. and the late Marylou “Mary” P. (Rogers)Russo. 

Joe was a 1996 graduate of Marion High School.  He was a talented hockey player and could be found every summer on Ogunquit beach.  He was a skilled heavy equipment operator. He loved his family and was the life of any party, always telling funny stories and jokes.

Joe was a loving and proud father, survived by his children, Joseph R. Russo of Putnam Connecticut, and Domenic Russo of Grafton. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Patricia J. Stafford, Robert E. Rogers, Joseph A. Russo and Florence Russo. He leaves behind many uncles and aunts. He was predeceased by his Aunt Cynthia DiDonato. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and his girlfriend Lynn Waugh.  

Family services are being held privately. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Safe Coalition 31 Hayward St Suite 2c Franklin, MA 02038.
