Hopkinton-Joseph A. Vento, 37, died Friday, April 23, 2004 as a result of a motorcycle
accident on Route 495.
Born in Boston, he was the son of Anthony J. and Barbara (Patch) Vento of Douglas.
Mr. Vento was a self-employed landscaper. He had enjoyed playing hockey and skating,
was an avid greyhound and loved all dogs, enjoyed fishing and was an avid Bruins and
Red Sox fan.
Beside his parents, he is survived by his former wife, Sarah (Poretta) Knowles; a son,
Ryan Vento; daughters, Jacqueline and Carlie Vento all of Brookfield, MA; brothers, John
J. Vento and his wife Pamela of Fitzwilliam, NH, Anthony J. Vento and his wife Deborah
of Upton, Nicholas J. Vento of Cumberland, RI; sister, Linda MacLaughlin and her
husband Glenn of Chelmsford, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and 7 great
The funeral will be held from the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St.,
Hopkinton,with a mass of Christian burial will
celebrated at St. John the Evangelist at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27. Burial will follow in
Mount Auburn Cemetery, Hopkinton.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
