Josef A. Manser, a resident of Holliston, peacefully and gracefully passed away at home on July 16, 2024, at the age of 78.

Josef, affectionately known as Joe, was born in Uzwil, Switzerland. His career as a sheet metal
manufacturing engineer led him to the United States, where he ultimately retired in May 2020
after 48 years of service at Lista. Joe was a masterful competitive skier and crossbow shooter. He took great pleasure in spending time outdoors, maintaining his yard, and the annual trips he and his wife of 30 years, Susan, would take to Mexico. Additionally, Joe enjoyed the finer things in life, including delicious food and exceptional wine. Joe was a friend who consistently prioritized nurturing and sustaining connections, no matter the time or distance.

Joe leaves the love of his life, Susan, his devoted daughter, Stephanie, and husband Sean Cullen, cherished granddaughter, Reagan Virginia, brothers, Hans, Freidel & Albin, stepdaughter Heather and her son Hunter, and extended family in Switzerland and Australia.

A celebration of Joe’s remarkable life will take place on Monday, July 22nd from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St, Holliston.
