Holliston-
Jonathan P. Curtiss, 56, of Holliston and formerly of Bexley and Columbus, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester due to complications and infection following a major surgery. Born in Alliance, Ohio, he was the son of the late Maria (Gilbert) and Dr. Paul H. Curtiss Jr, MD, both of South Natick, MA. He was the husband of Diane (Maistros) Curtiss of Holliston.

Jonathan was educated at Columbus Academy and attended classes at Ohio State University. Jonathan was a member of the Army, stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. An avid outdoorsman, Jonathan loved to go camping, fishing and hunting. In addition, he loved to design and create gardens for his yard. He also loved motorcycles, and owned Harleys for a large portion of his life. He worked at National Dentex Corp of Natick, MA for 8 years, as well as Community Newspaper Company of Needham, MA. Besides his wife, he leaves behind his children, Tanner L. Curtiss and Lauren M. Curtiss both of Holliston; a sister, Stacey A. Bown of Framingham and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5-8p.m. at
the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, www.redcross.org
