John T. Bison, 68, of Holliston died early Monday morning at the Newton Wellsley Hospital.
Born in Milford and a lifelong resident of Holliston, he was the son of the late Henry a. and Lillian (Whalen) Bison. He was also the husband to Geraldine A, (Fowler) Bison of Holliston

John was in the Navy from 1957 to 1959 serving in the 6th fleet on the USS Franklin Roosevelt air craft carrier. He was also a member of Saint Mary’s church of Holliston and a hockey coach for his kids when they were growing up. A driver for Holmes Transportation and then later he drove his own truck as an independent truck driver.

Besides by his wife Gerri, he is survived by 2 sons; Jeffrey T. Bison and his wife Theresa of Medway, Michael J. Bison and his wife Kim of Uxbridge, 1 daughter; Lynette D. Maloney and her husband Michael Sr. of Norton, 2 sisters; Johanna Macomber of Maine and Lillian Glockner of California. He also leaves 5 grandchildren; Tracey, Michael and Jessica Maloney, Jake Bison and Harley Bison and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation hours will be on Wednesday May 3rd , 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home 854 Washington St., (Rt. 126) in Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 4th at 10:00 am in Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston.
