Holliston-

John S. Hoyt, 69, of Holliston, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Eileen (McGrath) and Stanley Hoyt. He was the husband of 38 years to Marli (Henriques) Hoyt of Holliston.

John was an avid Patriot’s fan and loved listening to sports radio often. He took pleasure in playing golf and most importantly his grandchildren brought him great happiness.

Besides his wife, John is survived by two children, Jamie Arriola and her husband, Miguel of Phoenix, Kelly Hoyt and her fiance, Sean Lynes of Holliston; siblings, Jim Hoyt and his wife, Barbara of Chesapeake, VA, Nancy Englehardt and her husband, John of Medfield. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Avery, Riley, and Declan; mother-in-law, Adelaide Henriques; brother-in-law, Manny Henriques, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral home service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org
