Holliston-

John Joseph Nanai, 70, of Holliston, passed away August 2, 2016. Born in Stamford, CT, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Chase) and Alexander Nanai.

John was raised in Connecticut, where he lived most of his life. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College. He worked in Finance and Accounting in companies both in Miami and New York, before coming to Holliston in 1988 to work for St. Johnsbury Trucking.

He is survived by his former wife, Dorothy DeVincent of CT; his children, Nicole Hutton and her husband Kenneth of Hudson, MA and John P. Nanai and his wife Tracy of Plymouth, NH. He also leaves behind his brothers, Stephen Nanai Sr. of Danbury, CT and Alexander Nanai and his wife Rita of New Canaan, CT.
