Framingham – John J. Celozzi, 91, died December 3, 2004 at the MetroWest
Medical Center in Framingham.
He was the husband of the late Amalia “Molly” (Riga) Celozzi who died in
1999.
Born in Milford, MA he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Arcangela
(Sannicandro) Celozzi. He had been a resident of Framingham since 1940.
Mr. Celozzi had worked for 33 years at the Winchell Shoe Company in
Natick and then for the Colonial Hand Bag Company in Framingham.
He is survived by his daughter; Sandra Lee Celozzi of Framingham, a sister;
Flora Kowalczyk of Milford and many nieces and nephews. He was the
brother of the late Michael Celozzi, Attilio Celozzi, Anthony Celozzi and
Matthew Celozzi.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 7 at
11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Hopkinton. Burial
will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Milford.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 Tuesday morning prior to the
funeral mass at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St.,
Hopkinton, MA
