John Bradford LaChance, 60, of Holliston, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at his home.

He was the husband of Carol Murphy of Holliston.

A lifelong resident of Holliston, he had worked for Raytheon as a plumber for more than 25 years. He was a past member of the National Guard and was involved with the veterans.

He loved being outside, including doing work in his garden each year, and taking pride in his yard.

Besides his wife, he leaves one son, John LaChance; one daughter, Renee Linnell of Holliston; three stepchildren, Thomas, Christine and Kimberly; one brother, George LaChance of Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late Frederick and Clifford LaChance, Pearl Hartwell, Mary Allison and Janice Ridlon.

Funeral services will be private with the family only.

Burial will take place at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
