Medway- 

John Allen Lindfelt, 100 years old, of Medway and New Smyrna Beach, FL,  passed away June 24, 2021. Born in Mendon, he was the husband of 50 years to the late Barbara (Binks) Lindfelt. 

John was a Coast Guard Veteran of WWII. He worked in the boiler room on a troop carrier. After the service, he owned and operated Lindfelt Lumber Yard in Holliston. He was very active and always moving like the Energizer Bunny. He enjoyed time spent at his cottage in New Hampshire and traveling to Florida.  Most importantly, John was well loved by all and had a great sense of humor. 

John is survived by his son, Robert Lindfelt of New Smyrna Beach, FL; his longtime partner, Barbara Calnan of Medway and New Smyrna Beach; his grandchildren, Tracey Tarkiainen and her husband, Eric, Scott Lindfelt, Keith Lindfelt and his wife, Shelly; and his great-grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Scanlon and her husband, Garrett, Kyle Tarkiainen, and Madison and Carter Lindfelt. He is predeceased by his son, Jack Lindfelt and two siblings, Carl Lindfelt and Dorothy Lacey. He will be sorely missed by the Calnan family.
