A live band will continue the celebration beginning at 9 pm.

Holliston-

John Alan Themeli, 77, of Holliston, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Theresa (Palli) and Nikola Themeli. He was the husband of 56 years to Patricia (Connolly) Themeli.

John was a graduate of Natick High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner of Themeli Building Incorporated, TBI.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Sean Themeli and his wife, Marjorie, Michael Themeli and Derek Themeli and his wife, Suzy all of Holliston. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, John, Matti, Elizabeth, Nicole, Natalie, and Siobhan; and his close cousins who were like brothers to him, Richard Peristere and his wife, Susan and their four children, and Ron Parker and his wife, Anne; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

For those who knew and loved John, a CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on September 18, 2021 at 73 Prospect St. in Holliston. Preceding the outdoor celebration, there will be prayers and a Blessing Ceremony officiated by Father Mark Coiro of St. Mary’s Church commencing at 5 pm.  (Arrive early to allow for parking and a short walk to the pond.) Shared memories, meal and beverages will follow at 6 pm.  A live band will continue the celebration beginning at 9 pm. Directed parking to the back meadow will be available starting at 4:30 pm.
