Dear Karen and Family, Joel was such a special person. We shared a common thread in our lives, being a proud father. Growing with our children on the sidelines at sporting events, Joel would continuosly give me updates on Hayden and Kailli. When describing their activities his favorite words were "they love it". Karen, don't feel left out, Joel was always telling me how your running the show at work. In short, Joel was proud of his family and let people know it. I consider myself fortunate to have our lives intersect and share those small moments about our families. We are so terribly sorry about Joel passing away. He had such a " happy go Lucky" manner and always a smile. All the times he babysat Ben when they were small and people asked me who our male babysitter was. I could never imagine how difficult this time is for you.
