Holliston-
Joan S. Mullen, 84, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Bray) and William Gillen. She was the wife of the late Vincent Patrick Mullen who passed in 2009.

Joan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spending vacations with her family in Maine and vacations with friends in Florida.
She is survived by her children, Sean Mullen and his wife Mary Lou of Billerica, Margaret Strom and her husband James of Newton, Mary Beth Harris and Dana of Holliston, and Ann Parmese and her husband Gabriel of Holliston. She also leaves behind 12 grandchidlren, Charles, Michael, Julianne, Vincent, Meghan, Ryan, Kieran, Christopher, Hannah, Mary Kate, Norah and Jimmy, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Jack and Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20th from 9:30-10:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00a.m. in St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
