Loving mother of Brian Annese and his wife Kathy of Needham, Steven Annese and his wife Margi of Holliston and Cindy Murphy and her husband Peter of Bellingham. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Daughter of the late Katherine and Gordon Benedict. Sister of the late John Benedict and Ellen Crook. Joan loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking walks along the beaches of Wellfleet. Visiting hours Wednesday March 31, 5-8pm at Chesmore Funeral Home, Washington St, Holliston. Funeral Mass on Thursday April 1st at 10:30am in St Mary’s Church, Washington St, Holliston. Burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
