Joan F. Legee, 77, of Holliston, passed away October 31, 2015. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Doucette) and Roy Acheson. She was the wife of 57 years to Warren L. Legee Jr. of Holliston.

Joan was a 1956 graduate of Newton High School. She had worked at the Babson Reporter in Wellesley before she was married. She nannied throughout her life for many families in Holliston.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Gary and his wife Denise of Medway, Linda Spiller and her husband Greg of Medway, Doreen Mellow of Ipswich, and Stephanie Shaw and her husband Mark of Wayne, PA. She also leaves her brother, Robert Acheson of Keene, NH; her sister, Nancy Pressler of Watertown; sister in law, Jean Acheson of Netwon and 6 grandchildren, Christina, Cherise, Stephen, Jennifer, Nicole and Kevin. She is predeceased by her brother Ray Acheson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 9:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
