Holliston-

Jennifer Ann Kirkpatrick, 46, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lorna Ann (Donovan) and Lt. Col.Roy S. Kirkpatrick. She was the wife of fourteen years to Brian F. King of Holliston.

Jennifer was a strong woman who endured a seven and a half year cancer battle with bravery, grace and dignity. Jennifer held a Master’s Degree in Psychology and was passionate about her career in working with children with special needs. She lived every day to the fullest and took pleasure in traveling, especially to Wells Beach Maine,  Martha’s Vineyard and Second Beach in Newport, RI. She had a love for dancing, body surfing, fashion, writing, British music, animals, and her favorite color, purple. She especially loved living in the town of Holliston.

Besides her husband, Jennifer is survived by two children, Owen and Lorna King of Holliston; her sister, Elizabeth Kirkpatrick and her husband, Peter Bless of Barrington, RI and their children, Annabelle, Cecelia, and Jonah; Roy Kirkpatrick and Melissa Carter and their families, of Arkansas. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Stacy Turnbull and her husband, Bob of Hopkinton and their children, Ella and Jack; her mother-in-law, Linda Gasperino of Milford, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 5th  at  10:00 a.m. at  the Unitarian Universalist Church in Sherborn. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Episcopal Cemetery in Portsmouth, RI.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Children’s Room https://childrensroom.org/.
