Holliston-

Jean R. Allen, 81, of Holliston, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Kindred Nursing Home in Westborough. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edith and Thomas Sheridan. She was married to the late Joseph “Joe” Allen for 58 years.

Jean taught ice skating in Framingham and Natick and was a manager at Sudbury Skating and Tennis Club for several years. For many years she enjoyed her own business of collecting, restoring and dealing in antiques.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Allen and John Allen as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 5-7pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place on Friday, May 23rd at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
