Janice M. Dube, 78, of Holliston, passed away early Wednesday morning on September 14, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. Latown.
Janice graduated from Holliston High School in 1956, where she had a passion for playing softball and basketball. She was a retired meat wrapper from First National in Framingham, and was an avid outdoors person who loved fishing and camping. She also enjoyed bowling in the Millis League and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Daisy A. Duffy of Hopedale, and George D. Dube of Kennebunkport, ME.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19th from 10:30-11:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A service in the funeral home will follow visitation at 12:00p.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A memorial mass will be said in her memory on Sunday, November 27th at 11:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
