Janet Sue Hamilton, 70, of Framingham died Monday January 12, 2009 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Muncie, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Grace (Hamming) and Robert Hamilton.

A Framingham resident for more than 40 years, Janet had worked as a nurse at Children’s Hospital in Boston. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grand nieces.

She is survived by a niece Julie Gordon and her husband David of Medway, grand nieces Sarah and Rachel Gordon of Medway. Many friends, colleagues and her cousins in Indiana. She is predeceased by her sister Nancy Kellem who passed away in 2008. Janet was fond of her dogs Hannah, Peter and the late Ginger.
