Janet “Cookie” Littlefield, 76, a lifelong resident of Holliston, MA, passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2018 at Timothy Daniels House in Holliston. Born to the late Vincent and Coral Thombs May 28th,1942 in Holliston, Cookie received her diploma from Holliston High School and married her high school sweetheart, Peter Littlefield on April 23,1961 at the First Congregational Church of Holliston.
She was deeply rooted in faith and loved her family and a worldwide circle of friends. She was a Reiki Master and practitioner and provided comfort and support to many in those roles. Highly artistic, she loved creating beautiful works of art in a variety of mediums including porcelain dolls, needlework, and intricate machine and hand sewing. She loved animals, in particular horses, and was a devout contributor to causes that provided for the adoption and safety of animals of all kinds.
She is survived by her husband Peter, brothers, Phillip and Michael, two daughters, Valerie and Kim and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cookie’s memory to BayPath Humane Society, 500 Legacy Farms North, Hopkinton, MA 01748 or to Hope Hospice, 73 Service Road,Sandwich, MA 02537.
