Maynard-

Jane M. Seaward, 86, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August
14, 2011 surrounded by her family and many dear friends. Born in Maynard, she was
the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Matuszek ) Novick. She was the
beloved wife of the late Robert A. Seaward who passed in October 2010.

A life-long resident of Maynard, Jane retired to Leesburg, FL for 20 years before returning to Massachusetts where she has been living in Holliston for the past 2 years. Jane was a graduate of Maynard High School and worked in retail sales for many years at Hudson Fashions dress shops until her retirement. Jane was a very active member of St Casimir’s church in Maynard, enjoyed gardening, traveling and all sports. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Seaward-Hersh and her husband Jeffrey of Holliston; her siblings, George Novick of Clinton and Sophie (Novick) Cannella of Stow. She is predeceased by her brothers Henry and Frank Novick and her sister Laura. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jared Hersh and his fianc?e Michelle of Marlborough and Travis Hersh of Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 5-8p.m. at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St.
