HOLLISTON — James T. Case, 74, of Holliston, died Monday, May 31, 2004, after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Marie F. Case of Holliston.

Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Frances and Rufus Case.

A Holliston resident since 1963, he was a veteran of the Army in the Korean War. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Church of Holliston, where he helped and worked as a custodian after his retirement.

He was also involved with the Silver Grays Dance Club and the Holliston Council on Aging.

He loved woodworking, gardening and his family.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Jay Case and his wife, Susan, of Natick, Jeffrey Case of Worcester and Jon Case and his wife, Becky, of Hingham; four grandchildren, Kenney, Joanna, Zachary and Nicholas; and many cousins.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 3, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Route 16), Holliston (www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com).
