Milford-

Isabel ”Gudnaria” Vazquez-Otero, 80, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, she was one of eleven siblings and was the daughter of the late Gabriella (Otero) Santucci and Pedro Vazquez-Otero.

Isabel was very spiritual in her catholic faith. She had a kind heart and enjoyed volunteering her time supporting and feeding the veterans. She was a social worker who loved her career and being an advocate for those in need. She loved the ocean, singing, dancing, bowling, softball and playing guitar. She was great at dominos, cards and was a pool shark. She also took pleasure in entertaining and was the life of the party. She was proud of her heritage, a true “Boricua”. Most of all, she loved her family and feeding them.

Isabel is survived by six children, David Roman of IL, Gabriel Roman of TX, Mark Roman and Gerald Roman of WA, Mitzy Roman of MA, Missiel Stedham of WA, and her three “Las Nenas” Athena Roman, Angelique Muschette and Jessica Roman all of MA. She also leaves behind 56 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Fund, stjude.org or to Feed the Hungry, feedthehungry.org.
