Hopkinton

Howard P. “Fred” Jackson, 79, of Hopkinton, formerly of Atlantic City, NJ and Boston, died Sunday October 19, 2003 at the Bolton Manor Nursing Home in Marlborough where he resided the past year and a half.
Born in Atlantic City, he was the son of the late William S. and Lillian L. (Heinzmann) Jackson.
He had been a resident and local handyman of Hopkinton for over 30 years, endearing himself to many families and businesses there. He was retired from Joseph P. Keefe Technical School in Framingham where he had been employed as a custodian for many years.
In addition to his Hopkinton friends he is survived by his son; William F. Jackson and his wife Catherine of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, A Brother; Alvin Jackson of Somers Point NJ, 2 Grandchildren; Michael Jackson and Christine Grass and her husband Stephen, and a great granddaughter Gianna Grass all of Egg Harbor Township, NJ He also had many brothers and sisters that predeceased him.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 23, 2003 at 11:00 AM in the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA. Prior to the service a time of visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville
