Southborough-

Herbert Chin, 59, of Southborough, died Friday, May 22, 2009. Born in Providence, R.I. he was the son of the late Fong and Lee Nuey Yu Chin. He was the husband of 29 years to Jean T. Chin of Southborough.

He worked for 29 years at FDIC and was a devoted Pats fan and Celtics fan.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Andrew Chin of Southborough, a daughter Stephanie Whitesel and her husband Chad of Manchester, NH, 2 sisters, May King Lau of Cambridge and Helen Chin of Melrose. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Henry Chin who passed away on April 7, 2009.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26 from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00a.m. at the Congregational Church of Hopkinton.
