Henry A. Bullard Jr., 89 of Milford died Friday October 28, 2005. He was the husband of Frances Julia (Matondi), they married in September of 1942. Born in Milford he was the son of the late Henry A. and Sarah (Fogg) Bullard.

A Holliston resident since 1942 and then Milford from 1986, Henry was a graduate of Medway High School and Burdett College in Boston. He had been a manager for Valpey Crystal Corp. in Holliston and worked for General Motors, Framingham plant for 30 years before retiring in 1980. He was past president of the Horse and Buggy Club of Holliston. He was a direct decendant of Benjamin Bullard, Puritan, founder of Sherborn and Holliston, and great grand nephew of Elias Bullard, Holliston’s first attorney and founder of the Holliston Library.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Henry A. Bullard III of Hopkinton , daughter; Cynthia F. Bullard McCarthy of Southwick, grandchildren; Henry A. Bullard IV of Orlando, Fl, Dr. Cristina E. Bullard of Luguna Beach, CA, Kristen H. McCarthy of Southwick and Brendan C. McCarthy of Southwick.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 5, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Chesmore Funeral Home 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16), Holliston. The Rev. Andrea Wyatt will officiate. Burial of his ashes will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston.
