Holliston-

Helen Greer Johnstone, 94, of Holliston, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 10, 2017. She was born in Canada on May 6, 1923 where she grew up. She became a Registered Nurse and worked at Toronto General Hospital before and during WW ll. This is where she met her beloved Husband Johnny. He was one of the many patients from the war at that time. They came to the states in 1965 to 18 Elm Street Holliston, MA where they lived until they retired.

Helen leaves behind her 4 children, Brian and his wife Michelle of Missouri, David and his wife Jill of Ashland, MA, Gavin of Franklin, MA and Janie and her husband Jim of Deering, NH. She also leaves 11  grandchildren,13 great- grandchildren,and 1 great-great  grandchild.

Helen was involved with many things in the community, as well as at the First Congregational Church in Holliston. In later years she was involved with the many happenings at the Senior Center. She loved to listen to the music and “dance with her feet” as she called it! She always looked forward to going out to dinner with her friends after the activities. She loved the ocean, crafts and traveling.
