H.Clinton Vaughan, 46, of Hopkinton, MA, died August 12, 2016. Born August 13, 1969 in Manhasset, NY, he was the son of Karen G. Simonsen (deceased) and Homer Vaughan. He is survived by his most treasured and loving children Lily and Conor, sisters, Katherine, Margaret and Elizabeth, niece Emma, and caring friends across the country.

Clinton graduated from Avon Old Farms School in CT (1988), and then went on to study business at Syracuse University (1992). He had an adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit which enabled him to start his own belt business before graduation. His professional career also took him to the restaurant management business in New York City followed by a successful career in finance with Salomon Smith Barney and EMC.

Clinton will be remembered for living life large and with great enthusiasm. He made friends wherever he went, and kept them throughout his life. He was an avid windsurfer, skier and art collector. Above all else he was a devoted and caring father. His two children were the jewels in his crown, and his happiest days were when they were together. They were the pride and joy of his life.

A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Parish at 20 Church Street, Hopkinton, MA. There will also be services on Friday, August, 26th at 2:00 pm at the Congregational Church of Manhasset (1845 Northern Blvd.) followed by a reception at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club.
