Grace D. (Ripley) Hardigan, 95. of Sherborn and Treasure Island, Florida, died Sunday February 29, 2004 at the Carlyle House in Framingham, MA. Born in Spring Hill, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Sadie Ripley.
She co-owned one of the first Real Estate businesses in Sherborn- Bryer-Hardigan Real Estate. She was a member of the Pilgrim Church and very active in several Sherborn activities. Upon leaving real estate she moved to Treasure Island, Florida where she lived for 20 years. Before returning to Sherborn for health reasons, she was active in the Pasadena Church and president of the Women’s Circle for many years in Florida.
She was the married to the late Norman W. Hardigan who passed in 1971, and a wonderful friend to the late Halford Sanders of Florida. She leaves her daughters Nancy Lee Mayo of Sherborn and Susan Nielsen of Hopkinton, Grandchildren; Matt Mayo of Sherborn, Brad and Sara Mayo of Hopkinton, Todd, Dawn, Scott, and Nancy Mayo of Holliston, Jonathan and Jennifer Fiske of Hopkinton and Amy Fiske of Holliston. Great grandchildren; Tyler, Zack, Samantha, Sean, Olivia, Tucker and Laney Mayo, Collin, Rylee, Jessica Fiske, and Anthony Intinarelli
There will be no Calling Hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Pilgrim Church of Sherborn. Following cremation burial will be private.
