Geraldine (Gerrye) Mary Paradis, 78, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at her home. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Frank Gorgyan and Kathryn (Foldy) Auer and her stepfather, Frank Auer. She was the wife of the late Gerard Paradis.

A Holliston resident for 40 years, Geraldine attended Roger Ludlow High School in Fairfield, CT. She lived in Belgium and France in the early part of her marriage with her husband and son and enjoyed traveling there to visit friends in the later part of her life. She was one of the original employees of the Danforth Museum of Art, where she had worked for 20 years and she also worked at the Holliston Senior Center, where she later enjoyed spending her time.

She is survived by two children, Alix Carey and her husband Kevin of Holliston, and Marc Paradis and his wife Andrea Lass of Allentown, PA; siblings, Patricia Fournier and her husband Raymond of Keene, NH and Frank Auer Jr. and his wife Arlene of Stratford, CT. She also leaves three grandchildren, Eamon Carey, Anya Carey and Aimee Paradis as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 10-11a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A service will follow in the funeral home at 11:30a.m. with burial following in St. Marys Cemetery in Holliston.
